The World's First Active Shorts with a Nuyarn® Merino Wool Liner

Avala's merino wool liner helps you feel up to 30x less sweaty and do less laundry, while improving your overall health

Built with Nuyarn®’s patented merino fabric that is 8.8x as durable5x faster drying, and 85% more elastic than conventional merino wool.

Feel up to 30X Less Sweaty

Merino wool can absorb and release up to 30x more sweat vapor than synthetics, while staying dry against your skin. This is a game-changer in keeping you dry, comfortable, and chafe-free.

Better for Your Boys

Polyester liners in traditional workout shorts are treated with PFAS (forever chemicals) to help artificially wick moisture. These same PFAS have been linked to infertility, lower testosterone, and cancer. Our Nuyarn® merino wool liner naturally wicks moisture and is completely free of these toxic chemicals. Our 4-way stretch outer shell is also PFAS-free.

When making high-performance activewear, it's hard to avoid synthetic fabrics entirely. Cotton shorts, for example, are better for our health but get sweaty and heavy. The DREAM Shorts offer an innovative solution that protects your boys without slowing you down.

Cools When You’re Hot, Warms When You’re Cold

Merino wool was evolved by desert sheep that thrived in extreme conditions, from scorching 100-degree summers to freezing 0-degree winters. This advanced biology keeps you perfectly temperature-regulated through your workouts.

Do Less Laundry, Travel Lighter

Astronauts wear the same merino wool clothes for weeks because of its space-saving, antibacterial properties. When you’re traveling with the DREAM shorts, you can pack lighter, check less luggage, and do less laundry.
